Unfortunately the link I gave you for the video last month was broken. So I thought I would try again. It's worth the 3 minutes. You can have some fun with this ...I promise.

October Wardrobe Ideas

The change of seasons are in full view as October finally brings an end to our long hot summer. This month we give you some ideas about dressing for after hours and some good news about the economy as the men's clothing business is starting to heat up.

Our Fall bookings have been strong as our clients have been impressed with the new fall collections. I have some very interesting sport coat collections this season that you must see including a new cashmere and lambswool solid blazer available in 9 great colors. My shirtmaker has provided us with an unbelievable collection of new dress and Friday casual custom shirt fabrics.

You will want to see our new collection of Alpaca sweaters from Peru Unlimited including some new models in sweater vests with 1/2 zip mocks. Lastly, please consider that the holidays and some important formal events are only weeks away. If your tuxedo, tux shirt, or accessories need "freshening up", we need to get started.

By the way, I just got off the phone with one of my favorite clients, for whom I am delivering a new cashmere sport coat tomorrow. As my friend tells me, he loves to hear from me because it's like Christmas when I deliver a new garment that he knows he will enjoy. It's just like Tiffany's only I come to you!

Time is of the essence, as custom clothing orders I sell this month will be delivered in November and December. So if you want to get your order in for the fall season, please call 502.417.0324 (yes you can even call me on my cell!) or email KennyG@ExectutiveImage.com to schedule your fall wardrobe appointment.

FRIDAY'S MAN: TAKING BUSINESS CASUAL OUT ON THE TOWN
Your 9-to-5 wardrobe isn't always suitable for after-hours meetings. Because what you wear after work can make a difference in your business relationships, take your cue for social engagements from the "Friday wardrobe," and use these three tips to maintain your style through the evening.

Tip #1: Relaxed, not sloppy. If it's too informal for work, then it's too casual for after-hours meetings with clients or coworkers. Your efforts at a professional image will be diminished if you meet for dinner wearing faded jeans and a tee shirt.

Tip #2: Mix and match elements with style. Being eclectic doesn't mean abandoning principles of style. Remember to balance bold with demure, bright with neutral, and large with small. Create a focal point, then let the rest of your outfit complement that piece.

Tip #3: Make it fit. Choose custom-tailored casual wear so you can create versatile combinations with the current trends in fit. Enjoy the sleek-chic look of the slim cuts in your shirts and slacks, combined with your wardrobe standards for a fresh, confident look.

We love helping our clients supplement their 9-to-5 wardrobe with after-hours clothing. Call today, and we'll look at some great options for you.

UPSURGE IN MEN'S CLOTHING SALES
Historically, men's clothing sales are a small market compared with the women's clothing market. All that is changing with the new slim-fit look. Men are updating their look from the baggy khakis and polo shirts of a few years ago, to a more tailored, sporty look.

Today men aren't just getting a few new pieces-they're replacing substantial portions of their wardrobe. The new slim-fit look coupled with pent up demand for something new and a more serious approach to business wear is driving a resurgence in men's fashion. It can also be a big boost in creating the current, in-charge look that drives your professional image.

If you'd like a free consultation about how to update your look without a lot of stress, call us today.
