Member Show "Light Up the Sky"
May 1 - June 14
Opening Reception Saturday, May 2, 5:00-7:00 pm
Art Center members' show aglow with creativity For 56 years, the South Haven Center for the Arts Members' Show has inspired artists at all levels and this year's 57th annual event, "Light up the Sky" is no exception. Members have taken on the delightful task of creating inspirational, whimsical and light-centered works of art. Their unique exhibit may ignite creative sparks in viewers, encouraging them to re-kindle their special artistic flair, perhaps in a painting or a craft. Light up the Sky Members' Show begins May 1 and will extend through June 14. All works relating to light will be featured in the downstairs Main Gallery. The upstairs gallery will feature all other entries. All works must be original. The show, free to the public, provides the opportunity for a viewer to purchase a piece of art. The Opening Reception takes place from 5-7 p.m., Saturday May 2. Attendees can meet and chat with the artists and enjoy delicious refreshments created by Suzie Blair.
A special thank you to the New Covert Generating Company for underwriting the 2009 Members Show Exhibition!
