Greetings!
We're planning our 2nd annual Great Oaks picnic on Sunday, June 27. Hope you can join us!
We want to say a final farewell and thank-you to Rebecca West, our wonderful worship leader! Below is a letter she wrote to the congregation.
For all of you who have not yet taken the online gift assessment, we encourage you to do so! You will find the AssessMe.org link in the right hand column. This is a great way to discover your personal gifts and how they contribute to the church body. We'll be using these assessments in Home Church services this week.
You'll also find Home Church times and locations below, and info on upcoming Sunday Services. Enjoy.

Don't miss our church picnic!
Our church picnic is coming up soon on Sunday, June 27! This will be a great time of eating and hanging out together. We hope you can join us and bring your friends!
The picnic will be held at Stony Creek Metropark, in the Gladeview Picnic Shelter
B (see map link below). If you don't have a park pass it's just a $5
dollar entry fee per vehicle for the whole day. We will start arriving around 5pm and eating at 5:30, but the pavilion is reserved for the whole day so feel free to come early!
Hot Dogs will be provided, but please bring your own drinks, plates and utensils. Also, bring a side dish to share with everyone! You can also bring any yard games for later on in the evening.

Letter from Rebecca West
As most of you know, Rebecca is moving to California. She will be working and helping to grow a music therapy program in San Jose. The worship team gave her a farewell dinner last Sunday, after her final service of leading worship. She wrote this letter for all of you...

Dear Great Oaks Family,
Thank-you so much for the lovely thank-you/farewell card and gift card, which will definitely come in handy once I get to California! It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since I joined Great Oaks and led worship for the first time. I have greatly appreciated all the love, support and encouragement everyone has shown me. I have deeply enjoyed the warmth, genuineness and big hearts of everyone - it has been so refreshing, healing and humbling to be part of such a great group of people!
I greatly cherish all the wonderful memories and lessons I've learned, the friendships I've gained and will always look back fondly on my time with all of you. I know God will continue to bless all of you and finish the great work He has started at Great Oaks.
In Christ's Love, Rebecca West
