Villages This Week
Our Village topic last week was "Evangelism that looks like you" - we shared 6 different styles people have that all effectively touch people with the good news of Jesus.
This week we'll continue our focus on reaching people for Jesus as we discuss how to "Start Spiritual Conversations" and how to share your personal testimony.

Great Oaks Planning Meeting!
We'll begin with a cookout at the Bradford's - bring a dish to pass, meat will be provided

Where: We will meet at our home (876 Peach Blossom Lane, Rochester Hills)
What: An all church cookout followed by a planning meeting. We will be planning several things...

- Our strategy for Sunday Evening Services
- Decide on Village times and locations for the fall
- Discuss fall outreach events
- We also want to hear your heart and ideas
One of the fun things about new church starts is that in the early days we can all plan together. So join us!

Sunday Service on September 20
This fall we'll meet the 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays of the month!
Beginning on September 20th we'll be meeting every other week. The services will always be at Kensington, and usually in Room 213. We'll keep you informed, and keep the new Great Oaks Calendar updated as well.
On the 20th our worship will be led by our worship band, and Pastor Paul will be teaching on our 2nd Great Oaks Value, "Growing". He'll be discussing how we can be radically transformed by the Word of God, and how we can read the Bible for a right understanding that leads us towards life change and guards us against false doctrine.
