Sunday at our all church Village meeting we had our first baptism. What a joy! At our Sunday Village this week we'll hold our second Baptism. Awesome!

 Villages This Week
Our Sunday Village location has been changed to the home of the Paige's which is on a small lake where we can baptize Abi who is a new believer. If you desire to be baptized as well, call or email me soon (you can just reply to this email).
At Village this week we will be discussing how you can identify your unique style for reaching people for Jesus - a style that is both effective and consistent with the personality God has given you.

Great Oaks Planning Meeting!
We'll begin with a cookout at the Bradford's - bring a dish to pass, meat will be provided
Date: Saturday night, September 12, 5:30 to 8:30 pm
Where: We will meet at our home (876 Peach Blossom Lane, Rochester Hills)
What: An all church cookout followed by a planning meeting. We will be planning several things...

Drew Hage update
Drew is better and coming home
Many of you have known that Drew was very sick with the Swine Flu. We have been very concerned for him. Drew and I spent an hour on the phone last week. It was so good to hear from him! He was a very sick man for two weeks with not only the Swine Flu but also other viruses that hit him when his immune system was weak. But he has recovered and we are praising the Lord! Drew is coming home early this week. He'll be at our planning meeting on Saturday. Drew is the acting Executive Director at Great Oaks and a tremendous blessing to our new congregation.

Sunday Services this Fall
This fall we'll meet the 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays of the month!
Beginning on September 20th we'll be meeting every other week. The services will always be at Kensington, and usually in Room 213. We'll keep you informed, and keep the new Great Oaks Calendar updated as well.

Now that we are living in Rochester Hills, Tammy and I decided to take the full plunge and get local cell phone numbers!
On Monday, my number will change to 248-824-3662. Tammy's number will change to 248-824-0929.
