GREAT OAKS UPDATE · August 19, 2009
Greetings!

I got back in town a couple of days ago and Tammy came in yesterday. We're excited about our picnic tonight; we're looking forward to a great time together.

We  are trying to pull some last minute details together. We noticed the Evite didn't get to all of you, so please respond to this email and let us know if you can make it, and how many will be coming. We need to know how many to plan for.

We will supply hamburgers, hotdogs, plates, and plastic tableware. Just bring a dish to pass and a beverage. If you don't have time to pull something together, just bring yourself and we'll feed you! :-) See more details below.

Also, please pray for our team member Drew Hage. He's in Amsterdam and came down with the Swine flu. He's been very sick for a week and a half, and is in great pain and often alone in a small rented room. Drew is too tired to respond to emails, but if you want to encourage him, click here to email Drew.

Blessings!
Paul

Worship Service this Sunday at 6pm!

Our monthly worship times together are very important
.

For the first time we'll have a worship band made up mostly of our own members. I'm excited!

In the teaching, I'll be talking about what it means to be "Grounded in Christ." I'll share some amazing truths about who our Lord is, and the radical impact that our union with him has in our daily lives.
