Here's another quick prayer update.
The home we asked you to pray about, the 3rd home we've placed an offer on, is looking good! We have an accepted offer. Now we need to navigate the home inspection, appraisal, and loan process, but things look more hopeful on this home than any so far. We believe this long process of trying to find a home and get Stephen into a school may be nearing an end. Praise the Lord!
Tammy did not get the job for which she interviewed, though the interview did go well. We need extra income. Tammy has often taught private piano and vocal lessons, so we are beginning the process of marketing her in the area. Now that we have a home (keep on praying!) she'll have a place to teach.
Saturday we are leaving for our every other year Bradford family reunion in New Hampshire. As my parents get older we never know how many more of these reunions they'll be able to attend, so this is an important time together. We'll be celebrating my mom's 90th birthday and attending our nephew's wedding as part of the reunion. We'll return on Tuesday, August 18. David and I will be driving the truck and hauling our 5th wheel, which
we are taking to Maine to deliver to the family who purchased. We'll then head down to the family reunion. Tammy and Stephen will take a more Southern route, going through New York City to pick up the girls.
When we return, we'll be diving into the fall, a very important time in this new church launch. We also hope to be diving into moving into our new home! At Great Oaks, we will begin every other week Sunday evening services in September, and will be working hard to develop ministry teams and gather more team members as we look towards a public launch in 2010.
