While the hour is late (12:20 am!), I want to get a couple of important prayer requests to you. I so value your prayers and our relationship. As I was walking and praying a few minutes ago I felt a stirring in my heart to write you.

First Great Oaks Worship Service Today
Today (this update is going out just after midnight) will be our first Worship Service. we are beginning monthly Sunday evening services so that the growing Great Oaks Church can gather to worship and hear God's word. Plus this is a great opportunity to invite others. The service will be from 6 to 7:15 pm.
Please pray that the Lord might move mightily by his Spirit, confirming through his gracious presence the work we are doing. I will be preaching on "The Heart of Worship." Chris, a worship leader from Kensington Church, with whom Tammy and I feel a deep oneness of spirit, will be leading worship. Please pray for Chris, me, and all who gather.
Answered Prayers
We did have a wonderful time serving at a mission in Pontiac a couple of weeks ago. And we are experiencing the Lord's presence in our weekly Village gatherings. I thank the Lord for answered prayers.
We now have a committed core of about 30 adults, all incredible people, many of great spiritual maturity. But we've only just begun. We need your prayers more than ever.

We May Have a Home!
Today we submitted an offer to purchase a home in Rochester Hills. This lovely home is just the right size, and has the things we need--like a study for me, a relatively large family room for church gatherings and hospitality, and an extra room for guests.
Please pray for an open door. We have not lived in our own home for two years, and we are ready to settle down. A number of things need to happen financially. We need an accepted offer at a reasonable price. We need to get a loan in a timely manner--my unusual and changing employment status over the past two years is giving the bank some jitters in a market where banks don't like risks. We need to sell our 5th wheel trailer.
Finally, either Tammy or I need a bit more income. Tammy has a job interview soon after we return from vacation. She has applied for 5 job openings in her field. Some teaching positions in this area are receiving hundreds of applications.
Bradford Vacation
Monday morning Tammy, Stephen and I are going to head up north to Tammy's mom's cottage for a week with her family. Please pray that the Lord renew us and that we have quality time with one another.
While we're gone, our Great Oaks Villages will be led by a couple of our new leaders. I am very confident in them, but I do ask you to pray for Bill and Brian as they lead.
By the way, our girls are happily settled in their new apartment in Manhattan. Thanks for praying.

Here is how you can pray for us:
- Pray for God to move mightily this evening at our 6 pm worship service. Pray for Chris as she leads worship and Paul as he preaches.
- Pray for an accepted offer on our potential new home, and for the needed financial break throughs.
- Ask the Lord to provide for additional income for our family. We are knocking; doors will open. Specifically, pray for Tammy's job interview July 8 at 2 pm.
- Pray for a renewing Bradford vacation next week.
- Pray for Brian and Bill as they lead our Villages next week. Ask for the continued move of the Holy Spirit in our Village gatherings.
- Pray for the Lord to continue to draw people to Great Oaks and, most importantly, to Christ.
- As always, continue to pray for spiritual protection around our family and Great Oaks Church.
