PICNIC PLANS What to bring... What we're doing...
Well, our "Progressive Picnic" at Brinston Park in Troy is coming together for this Sunday afternoon. We expect about 50 people counting kids, and we'll have all ages - infants, children, teens, and adults. A fun time is shaping up. Here's the plan...
4:30 Arrive and hang out. Bring a Frisbee, ball and gloves, and other park stuff. 5:15 Progressive Picnic. We'll have Appetizer, Salad, Main Course (Hamburgers & Hotdogs) and Dessert. We'll eat in groups of about 10, and with each course you'll change tables, so you'll get to know just about everybody by the end of the evening. 7:00 All Together Time. We'll pull together for some group activity. 7:30 More fun time. We'll officially conclude at 7:30 pm, but you can stay around as long as you like (the park closes at 10 pm).

The Our Mission (Isaiah 61:1-3)
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor... that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, to display his splendor.
