Everybody Invited! Don't miss it!
Where? At Brinston Park, 2262 Brinston Dr, Troy, MI 48083. Located just east of John R between Maple and Big Beaver Roads (Click here for Mapquest). We'll be in the Picnic Shelter. Playground equipment for kids and restrooms are nearby.
When? This Sunday, May 24 from 4:30 to 7:30 pm (we have the shelter reserved until 10 pm, so you can stay as long as you like!).
Who? This is for everyone, whether you are simply interested in Great Oaks or have been coming. This is a time to get to know each other better and meet those who are launching on this amazing new venture together.
What? A "progressive picnic dinner." We will be going from one picnic table to another, having a different course at each table - appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert. Each time we move to a new table we'll change the groups so we can get to talk with new folks. After dinner we'll all gather together and have some fun, light activities to get to know each other better.
What to bring? Once we know who's coming, Tammy will send out an email with a list of what you can bring. We hope everyone can make it! Please email Tammy to let her know you're coming at tlbradford@sbcglobal.net.

Meet the Bradford Family
We want you to meet the people God is sending to Great Oaks. Each time we send out an update, we want to introduce a Great Oaks launch team family or member. We just need a bit of information about your family and a digital photo. To get things going, we'll introduce the Bradford family.
Paul was born in Texas, and raised in Oklahoma. After college and seminary, Paul was an associate pastor at First Reformed Church in Grand Haven for about 5 years. Together with his wife Tammy, Paul planted Lakeshore Vineyard Church in Holland, Michigan where he served as Senior Pastor for over 20 years. Following the Lord's open doors, Paul and Tammy moved to eastern Michigan in September to plant Great Oaks Church. Paul enjoys being outdoors - biking, water sports, hiking, and camping. He also enjoys date night with Tammy and being with his family!
Tammy was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. She has her Bachelors in Music Education from Central Michigan University and has taught piano and vocal music both privately and in public and charter schools. She has also always been involved closely with Paul in the churches he has led. Most importantly, Tammy has been a mom to four children. Tammy loves music, walks with our Golden Retriever "Cooper", and laughing with friends.

Paul & Tammy have four children. Aleyse is a profession dancer in Manhattan. Laura will be a Senior at New York University and lives with her sister in NYC. David will be a Sophomore at Grand Valley State University. Stephen will be a Junior in High School.
The Lord has worked in many ways to bring the Bradfords to SE Michigan with the mandate to establish a new congregation that is Grounded in Christ and in authentic community, Growing strong in the Lord through worship, prayer and the Word, and Giving of our lives to bring Christ's life, freedom and joy to others!
