Tomorrow we are mailing out 13,500 letters to members and attenders of Kensington Community Church. The mailing will include a letter of endorsement from Steve Andrews, a brochure describing Great Oaks, and an invitation to come to one of three interest meetings we will be having to share our Vision. This is a tremendous opportunity. The letter from Steve Andrews not only endorses our new church, but also encourages the Kensington people to "pray the dangerous prayer: 'God, do you want me to join in this new adventure?'"
The three interest meetings will be held at Kensington on March 8, 12
and 18 in the evening. Each of these will be very important.

In addition to this huge mailing, in the past two weeks I have had lunch with two different men with whom I shared the vision of Great Oaks. Both of them invited Tammy and me over for dinner, and now their wives are also very excited. One couple is interested, the other couple has told me that want to join our church start team.
What is more, both of these families have extensive connections with others who may be interested and they are arranging meetings
with friends who they believe would be excited about what we're
doing. I need prayer for each and everyone of these meetings, some
of which are very spur of the moment, such as a great lunch appointment
I had today.
We see God moving, and need prayer as never before.

Interest meetings and more

Here are some ways you can pray for us:
- Thank
the Lord for the opening doors and for the growing interest in Great Oaks.
- Pray urgently that the Lord will go before this massive mailing, stirring on the hearts of those he is calling to join us, and prompting them to both open and read the letter and brochure. This is a huge opportunity, and it will only be fruitful if the Lord goes before it preparing hearts.
- Pray in advance for the interest meetings on March 8, 12, and 18. Pray for grace and wisdom as we prepare for these meetings.
- Pray that God will bless the lunches and meetings with prospective team members, stirring their hearts if God is calling them to join our team.
- Continue to pray that God will gather a team of 25 adults by mid April. Only the Lord can do such a work, and I believe he will.
- Continue to pray for our 5th Wheel to sell.
- Pray for protection around those joining our team and considering our team.
- Always remember our children, Aleyse, Laura, David and Stephen! And remember Tammy, who is bearing so much with such grace as she continues with her husband on this crazy adventure of church planting!
