The City of Green just became aware of a state of Ohio workforce training program - the Ohio Incumbent Workforce Training Voucher Program.  The program is a first come first serve program and it will be officially opened in the next few weeks.

We understand that the program has a $20 million allocation for 2012 and use of the funds is not tied to employment growth.  The funds are administered through the Development Services Agency (formerly the Ohio Department of Development) and provide training funding for employers in targeted industries meeting additional requirements.  If your employees are in need of training, this might be a great program.
