Greetings!
The City of Green just became aware of a couple of programs that may be of interest to some of our local businesses particularly those in the polymer industry or those wishing to catch the wave and work with the oil, gas and shale industry. Pleas see below more information about these two opportunities.
Growing Your Business through Computational Modeling
Moldex3D Injection Molding Simulation Tools
Greater Akron Chamber
1 Cascade Plaza, 17th Floor
Akron, Ohio 44308
Wednesday, July 11, 2012
10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Increase your efficiency. Mold flow analysis is essential to reducing the cost and time needed to design and fabricate injection molds as well as to optimize processing parameters. Moldex3D is the first 3D mold flow analysis software and is now available through the Polymer Portal at pay-per-use prices. Online training and personal support in completing your project are available.
You can register two ways; online go to the Polymer Portal Website, https://www.polymerportal.org/, click on the Training Opportunities tab, then the Available Training Courses, or contact Lynda Wright at Polymer Ohio, 614-776-5720 or lwright@polymerohio.org.
For more information, contact Kevin Cunningham at (614) 776-5720 or kcunningham@polymerohio.org.
Oil, Natural Gas & Shale Industry Training from the Small Business Development Center If you are exploring doing business with the Oil, Gas or Shale Industry and are in need to additional training, support can be attained through the Zane State College's Small Business Development Center. Several different programs will be offered. Contact Cindy Voorhies, SBDC Director at cvoorhies@zanestate.edu or 740.588.1331.
Sincerely,
City of Green Planning Department
