Greetings!

With summer on the horizon, there a few things happening in Green that may be of interest to some businesses.

Arlington Road - Green Auto Mile Event

The City of Green will be hosting a three-day celebration July 26 through 28 to commemorate the newly competed Arlington Road project and the recent collaboration between Green's new car dealerships.  The auto dealers and the City will be branding part of Arlington Road and Interstate Parkway, as the Green Auto Mile.  On Saturday, July 28 from 9-5, we are planning a family-friendly event to make the community more familiar with the businesses and car dealerships located on the Auto Mile.

The City has partnered with a marketing and event planning agency, Grabowski & Company, to design and produce this event. Please be aware that G&C may be contacting your business in the coming weeks to provide you with event participation information. Our hope is that many Green-area businesses will be eager to promote themselves throughout the event, and even offer special discounts or coupons to the community that weekend.  If you would like to be involved in the event, please contact Jennifer Draher at  jdraher@grabowskiandco.com.

Property Beautification - Not just for Green Residents

The City of Green is encouraging businesses and property owners to help keep Green a beautiful place to live, work and play.  How our businesses "look" from the street says a lot about our businesses and our community.

Celebrate the weather by helping to make Green bloom!  Hoffman's Garden Center has once again partnered with the City of Green to sponsor this year's Property Beautification Competition.  Be the first business in Green to receive the "Mayor's Award" in recognition of your efforts to make our city beautiful.

The deadline to apply has been extended to June 1.  For more information and an application, click here

Sincerely,
