Road Construction Update
LinkedIn Logo
We are still in the midsts of several road construction projects.  These necessary projects will allow traveling through our main corridors for safer and quicker travel thru our city, which is always good for business.

Arlington Road
This two-season project is well underway.  The construction crews are concentrating on widening the area around Arlington Road and SR 619.  Necessary sewer work is also being completed in this area and traffic on Arlington Road south of SR 619 has been shifted to allow crews to work without disrupting the flow of traffic. For more information on the project, click here.  We are anticipating much of the improvements around the Arlington Road/SR 619 to be completed by the end of the construction season.  Further, work is being done to tie Jarvis Road into the Target Plaza, allowing traffic in the area to move easier.

Massillon Road
The sewer project between Stake Drive and Wise Road is nearly complete.  With the sewer project near competition, ODOT will be repaving  much of Massillon Road.  Crews will be out over the next several weeks to mill off the top layer of asphalt in preparation for a new top coat.  Crew will be working from the northern City boundary to Graybill Road and then work from the southern corporation line to Wise Road.  If you have any questions about the project please contact our Engineering Department at 330.896.5510.
