IRS Helping Companies Who Hire
If you are considering recently hired an unemployed worker, you may be eligible to take advantage of a new IRS tax savings.  The IRS is reducing some of the tax burden by offering businesses who hire qualified employees an exemption on the employer's 6.2 percent share of social security tax for wages earned between March 19, 2010 and December 31, 2010.

Road Construction Update
LinkedIn Logo
This summer there are several road construction projects underway.  These projects will make traveling through our main corridors safer and quicker.

Arlington Road
This two-season project is well underway.  The construction crews are concentrating on widening the area around Arlington Road and SR 619.  Necessary sewer work is also being completed in this area and traffic on Arlington Road south of SR 619 has been shifted to allow crews to work without disrupting the flow of traffic. For more information on the project, click here.

Massillon Road
The sewer project between Stake Drive and Wise Road is near the midway point.  The contractor hopes to complete work in July.  Once the project is complete, many sections of Massillon Road will be repaved.  The repaving is part of a larger repaving effort to much of Massillon Road (SR 241) between the Stark County line to the City of Akron. For more information on the project, please visit our Web site.
