Deuterononomy

32:1-52

Moses recites a poem, which tells the history of the Israelite people.  In the midst of the poem, he speaks of a time when God's presence will be hidden from them.  He explains that only when we return to God, will God's presence be restored.

Religious School News

Religious School is starting this weekend! Religious School begins this coming Sunday , September 30 at 9:30am!  Parents are invited to join your children for all or part of the morning.  We will begin with a brief assembly for all parents and students promptly at 9:30am.  We'll introduce our new teachers, our new Israeli Emissary,  and welcome our returning teachers and student madrichim (aides). Parents will receive family handbooks that include school calendars, our curriculum, policies, and other important information. Following the assembly, parents are invited to join your children in their classrooms for a brief orientation. Following the orientation, students will remain in their classes for the morning and parents are invited to join us in the oneg area for bagels and coffee. We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!

Hebrew program begins Wednesday, October 3!  All 4th-7th grade students attend class from 4:15 to 5:45 and then meet in the oneg area for pizza from 5:45 to 6pm.  4th-6th grade parents, please bring or send in a check for $100 per student to cover the cost of pizza for your child for the school year. The cost of pizza is already included in the B'nai Mitzvah program fee for 7th grade students.

School Registration: If you have not yet registered your children for religious school, please send in your forms and payment as soon as possible.  You will also be able to register your children on the 30th.  Registration forms can be found on the bulletin board in the hallway by the rest rooms.
