Can you believe it's March already? And that St. Patrick's Day is next week?? Plus, daylight savings time goes into effect this weekend. Woohoo! MARCH SALE This month all Kaffe Fassett fabrics are 20% off. Books and patterns are also discounted 20%.
St. Patrick's Day Special: Come to the shop on Saturday, March 17, wearing green and take 10% off your purchase (except for items already on sale). NEW FABRICS AND MORE There are so many beautiful new wools in the shop! Those beautiful new batiks and Jo Morton fabrics I promised last month have also arrived!
Pattern designer and friend of the shop, Bonnie Lemert, has created some wonderful new wool patterns, and two of them are being kitted up and will soon be ready for you to take home! Her beautiful samples, including Fall Splendor, are on display in the shop. CRAZY FOR QUILTS SHOW The biggest news in the life of my family right now is that we are planning a wedding for my son and his soon-to-be bride! Because the wedding is going to be at our home, and because it is scheduled for the last weekend in July, there is just no feasible way for me to accomplish both a quilt show and a wedding. Thanks in advance for understanding my choice; it just gives you all more time to create more beautiful quilts for the 2013 show!
I want to thank you all, again, for your continued support of the shop and retreat center. The early reviews on the retreat center are awesome! There are still a few weekend dates available in 2012, and each group that has been here so far in 2012 has booked at least one and in some cases two retreats for 2013!
