For your fabric sweet tooth, coming are cupcakes and ice cream sundaes...without any calories! CRAZY FOR QUILTS RETREAT UPDATE The first retreat group of 2012 in the new Crazy for Quilts Retreat was a huge success. I think we passed the test with flying colors! Thank you, Marsha Mach and her wonderful friends who made the first retreat very special. Here are some pictures that capture a moment or two...and a sneak peak at the new retreat! 
The virtual tour of the new retreat center is now up and running on the website, www.thecrazyquiltshop.com! The Retreat Center sleeps fourteen guests comfortably. Each room has pillow top twin beds with a fun theme decorating each room. The main floor is equipped with 2 spacious work areas that have two large cutting tables, many large project boards, five large ironing boards, Ott lights at each table, and comfortable task chairs. A kitchen/break room and two bedrooms that sleep 5 with a full bathroom are close by. The theme for one bedroom is 'Kaffe Fassett.' The other is the 'Batik' bedroom.
The second floor has a beautiful living room, full kitchen with dining bar seating four, dining room with seating for 10, and a comfortable reading and television area, all with a spectacular view of the nearby mountains. Also on the second floor are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Just off of the kitchen area is the 'Americana' bedroom that sleeps 3 and across the hall is the 'Jo Morton' bedroom that sleeps 2 with a full bathroom. On the other side of the living area is the 'Hollywood' bedroom that sleeps 3 with a full bathroom. This bathroom features a soaking tub and a spacious walk in tile shower. Across from the Hollywood bedroom is a library that has a sofa sleeper.
All linens for beds, bathrooms and kitchen are provided.
A two night minimum stay is required with a minimum of six guests. Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 11 AM and depart as late as 4 PM.

We are excited to announce that we are putting together new wool kits. The patterns are designed by a local artist. I will be introducing you to her in next month's newsletter. Stay tuned! TIME FOR A PARTY On April 14, 2012, The Crazy Quilt Shop celebrates its fourth year in business. Mark your calendars. We are going to have a birthday party with many door prizes and sales galore! Time flies when you're having fun!
