Quilt Show Update

Thanks to all of you who have been bringing in your quilts for the show.  The earlier I get them, the more time I have to get them staged and ready to hang for the show! 

For those of you willing to help/volunteer during the show, I have sign-up sheets for time slots each day.  Most are three-hour shifts.

I have scheduled a meeting for volunteers on Tuesday, August 9.  Please join us at 4 pm in the classroom so we can put our heads together and come up with a plan!  If you cannot be at the meeting, please give me a call or send me an e-mail about your availability.

Remember, quilt show tickets are available now at the shop.  Get your tickets (wrist bands) early and save yourself standing in line when you arrive for the show.  Tickets are $5 each or five for $20.  If you're coming from out of town, we can mail them to you ahead of time--just send us a self-addressed stamped envelope and a check for the number of tickets you would like.  The wrist band "tickets" are good for all three days of the show!

There are still some spots available for JaNita's Roslyn Memory Block workshop Friday and Saturday, August 26 and 27, from 11 am to 3 pm.  JaNita has designed this block especially to commenorate your Roslyn experience.  The cost ($85) includes the block kit, the two-day seminar, and a wrist band that allows you into the show all three days. 

Wool Class with Bonnie Lemert

This class has become so sought-after that she wil be teaching it on two days--Thursday, 8/4, and Saturday, 8/6, 11 am to 3 pm each day.  The cost is $50 and includes all the wools and thread necessary to complete the penny table mat. 

More New Fabics!

Since the first of the month I have received even more wonderful bolts of fabric in fall and winter themes.  I even have some beautiful flannels that would be awesome for backing a quilt if you want to add a little more warmth! 
 

Special Purchase Fabrics!

When the opportunity presents itself to bring some fabrics into the shop at a special purchase price, I want to pass those savings on to my dear customers!  I currently have approximately 20 bolts from Blue Hill Fabrics, and I am offering them for just $8.95 per yard!  Get 'em while they're hot, and still here!

It's hard to believe that July is more than halfway gone!  I hope you are finding great ways to enjoy your summer!
