| Venue Announced!
I am very excited to announce that the majority of this year's quilts show will be presented in the Masonic Hall just a block down the street from the shop! The light is good and the space is perfect! Thank you to Nathan Weis and Curtis Headrick for helping make it happen.
Seminar with Featured Artist, JaNita Clairmont
What's an even bigger word than excited?? I'm over the top about the opportunity to have our featured artist teach a two-day seminar on Friday and Saturday, August 26 and 27, from 11 am to 3 pm each day. JaNita has designed a unique block that captures memories of the Crazy Quilt Shop and Roslyn in a detailed memory block. The photo here barely does the block justice; the real thing is on display at the shop! The cost includes a basic kit for the seminar. Participants are encouraged to bring embellishments including threads, beads, buttons, ribbon, etc. Sign up early to guarantee a spot in this very special crazy quilt and embellishment seminar. Visit our website (www.thecrazyquiltshop.com), click on the quilt show, and view more of JaNita's amazing work.
There are a limited number of beds at the Hummingbird Inn (right next door) available for seminar participants for the special price of $50 for Friday night, August 26. First come, first reserved!
Seminar only: $85 (includes basic kit for block)
Seminar and Friday night lodging: $135
Revised Application Form
We have made some changes to the application form. Don't worry; if you have already sent your application using the previous version of the form, you do not need to re-apply. Remember, your applications need to be turned in to the shop by July 1, 2011.
Revised 2011 Quilt Show Application
