Hello, 2011! I hope you had a happy and safe holiday season. The fireplace is warm at the Crazy Quilt Shop! And plans and projects at the shop are going to light the fires of your creative heart. Here are some of the January highlights:
Crazy Quilters will gather for the first meeting on Friday, January 7, 2011, from 11 am to 4 pm. There will be practice opportunities and maybe even some demonstrations. Come and go as you please during that time. Let's see what we can come up with!
2011 Retreat Dates are filling fast! Get our calendar out and schedule your special retreat at the Crazy Quilt Shop and Hummingbird Inn. You can take a virtual tour of both places at our website, www.thecrazyquiltshop.com. Cost is $75 per person per night (two-night minimum stay). Minimum four (4), maximum ten (10) participants. Remember--you get 24/7 access to both the classroom at the shop and the Hummingbird Inn right next door.
I will be announcing a schedule of free demos at the shop--watch for it in the February newsletter!
I'm taking a vacation! I will be spending time with family and friends at Whistler and I can hardly wait! In order for me to "get away," I am going to close the shop from January 21 through January 31 and reopen on Tuesday, February 1, at 11 am.
It is my intention to make 2011 the best year yet at the Crazy Quilt Shop!
