CP and SP001 inspectors:
You can re-certify on-line!

Take advantage of this easy way to keep your certification up-to-date. No traveling required and the exam instructions are simple.

Cathodic Protection Re-certification

Existing STI CP certified testers for USTs can maintain their certification with our online exam. You must have been actively testing since being certified and understand the current STI RP R251 for cathodic protection testing.

STI SP001 Inspector Re-certification

If you are an AST SP001 System Inspector and your certification has expired or is about to, this may be an easy way to renew for another five years. Re-certify at your convenience right from your computer.

STI SP001 Adjunct Certification for API 653 Inspectors

The SP001 Standard for Inspection of Aboveground Tanks applies to portable containers, shop-built ASTs and field-erected ASTs up to 30' diameter and 50' height. According to the SP001 standard, API 653 certified inspectors must obtain an "STI SP001 Adjunct Certification" to perform an SP001 inspection. The goal is to ensure that an API 653 certified inspector is familiar with construction of tanks and containers covered in SP001, as well as the requirements of a tank-system inspection.
