National Championship Invitational Divisions

2009 Under Armour AYC National Championships presented by UCA
December 10-12th, Orlando, Florida

You already know how to qualify your squad for the Nationals....

But what about the National Championship Invitational Divisions?

Two invitational divisions designed to create exciting experiences!

Mitey Mite Division                      9 years old and under          (see AYC Rule book for more)
Special Needs Division                7 years old and older           (see AYC Rule Book for more)

Two invitational divisions don't mean the competition isn't FIERCE, it just means that this year not all of our regions offer Dance & Step in a qualifying event...lucky you!

Dance                                                    all Divisions                          (see AYC Rule book for more)
Step                                                         all Divisions                          (see AYC Rule book for more)

Invitational Division commitments are due to AYC HQ by November 6. Team Entry forms are due by November 22nd, the online team entry form and participant paperwork and other event information will all be available at www.ayfchampionships.com

Member Spotlight: The Championship Experience
Through Cheer girls have fun, develop character, and build self esteem.

"It truly is a once in a lifetime experience that they will never forget. My daughter attended Nationals last year. She couldn't tell you what score her team got or what mistakes she made on the mat during the competition. If you were to ask her today about the competition itself she would remember she got 2nd place and that's it. But what she does remember is the late night swim parties with all her new "cheer friends" after they spent all day practicing on the lawns, going to Universal Studios and making new friends from across the country, the butterflies she felt when she was waiting back stage for their turn on the mat, the excitement of seeing her family in the stands cheering her on right before the announcement of "Ladies you may begin" and the pride as she finished a routine that she had worked months on...it didn't matter to her at that moment what her score was, it didn't matter what place she was going to get...she finished a goal that she had been working towards and that is so much more important than any trophy".
