The 2009 Under Armour AYF All-Star Game
was an incredible experience for all those who participated!

AYFers hung out with the top 80 High School Recruits in the Nation, got some lessons from a number of NFL Pro's including Chris Carter and had a blast at the Skills Challenge at Disney's Wide World of Sports. Football players and cheerleaders were geared up by Under Armour and played an amazing game that brought the Citrus Bowl to their feet. After the game, AYFers took front stage at the Ludacris half-time show and celebrated a well deserved trip to Florida.

The Giving Back Spotlight

Giving Back is a central theme of AYF and AYF leagues constantly exemplify the  'circle' of Giving Back. Here are two stories that inspire us:

The Little Warriors of Hampton, NH donated 120 helmets to an AYF upstart program in Chelsea, MA. The leagues are only 45 miles apart, but there is a world of difference between these communities, and with the support from the Little Warriors, The Chelsea pride will be able to offer its local youth a first class football program for 2009.

The Glencoe Trevians know what football is all about.  The Trevians started a "Friendship Weekend" where the Trevians host the Chicago Heights Panthers with the intention of making friends, playing football and celebrating diversity. Most of the weekends fundraising goes to help support the Chicago Heights Football Program who are trying to keep their kids off the street.
