Greetings!
Do we have big enough hearts to make a difference? In a recent article, Bill McKibben, Sunday School teacher and founder of 350.org, wondered whether we have big enough hearts to make the difference in the threat of climate change. As the summer winds down and I contemplate the drought, storms, and fierce temperatures we have experienced here in Ohio, I am convinced, more than ever, that to face the threat of climate change requires our collective minds and hearts. Interfaith Power and Light, with its growing network of concerned persons of faith willing to offer the religious, moral voice, has a significant role to play.
Please share with others and let's join our hearts in caring for creation and for our neighbor and providing a religious response to climate change.
In faith,
Sara Ward
