The Greater Dayton Christian Connection is sponsoring a wonderful opportunity for Children's and Youth Ministry leaders to learn more about ways to integrate awareness of environmental stewardship in faith development education.  "Planting the Seeds of Creation Care" is a half-day workshop, with a keynote address by nationally recognized Creation Care advocate Mitch Hescox (President/CEO of the Evangelical Environmental Network) and will include breakout discussions of educational resources and upcoming earthcare events within the Miami Valley.  The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon at the Pilarczyk Center, Catholic Social Action Office, 1436 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH.  Details are available at http://christianconnections.org/index.php?page=creationconnection.

This workshop offers a great chance to advance commitment to environmental stewardship, and it will highlight curricula from a variety of denominations.
