If you haven't already heard, we have a great lineup of family-friendly, FUN activities to help show our support and raise awareness for those in our community affected by Down Syndrome. We encourage ALL of our customers to come out and join in these great opportunities to teach our children about celebrating diversity and accepting those who may appear to be different from them. As we all know, the more exposure that we have to the unknown, the more accepting we become of it! 50% of proceeds from open play admissions on Tuesday AND Thursday will go directly to CODSN. When you join us on Thursday night and purchase dinner, 100% of those proceeds will go to them. This is a great cause, will be a great time, and would be a shame to miss!
Tuesday, October 20th 1-8pm
1pm: Cookie Decorating
2pm: Puppy Scavenger Hunt
work in teams to find 8 clues guiding you to your team's puppy mascot!
3pm: Story Time
4pm: Disability for an Hour
a representative from CORIL (Central Oregon Resources for Independent Living) will be on hand to let the kids experience what it's like to live with a disability. They'll get to experiment with a wheelchair, crutches and a blindfold.
5pm: Handprint Painting
6pm: "Squigglets" Frisbee Golf
our own indoor version of frisbee golf! Make the rounds as a team (or family), and see how many throws it takes collectively for each member to hit a target with our soft and friendly "squigglet" frisby...but there are no losers here!
7pm: Speed Stacker Cup Challenge
if you've never tried speed stacking cups, now's your chance! They're even teaching it in P.E. classes throughout the US. It's a great way to challenge your ambidexterity, not to mention have a few laughs!
Thursday, October 22nd 1-8pm
1pm-3pm: Chair Massages
LIVE musical performance by Janellybean,
late afternoon or early evening, time TBD
5-8pm: Family fun games (potato sack races, tug-of-war, parachute, hula hoop contests, and more)
