If There's EVER Been A Time That We've Needed You...It's NOW!

Greetings!

I know that there are many of you that have been with me since the very first email newsletter that I wrote last July (bless you for hanging in there with me!) You can probably recall several editions where I've asked for the help of our patrons to rally around us to help pull this business through struggling times. The one that was termed "the email", by all our customers! :) This email is a little different however. As I've now seen another wonderful children's business have to close it's doors (Gigglybops), and following our second worst month of business in 14 months in operation, I'm terrified that we are next in line!
 
I so rarely hear negative feedback about our business model, and overwhelmingly hear how wonderful it is and how much-needed it is in the Central Oregon community, I am constantly asking myself how it can possibly struggle so badly month after month? I've drawn a few conclusions, and I think that with a little bit of creativity and some help from those that want us to stay around, we just may make it. So, if you want us to be here for years to come, or just during those long winter months, PLEASE...show us your support, let us know about it, let everyone you know- know, and we just might surprise each other with what is possible when we come together for a common goal!

 How Can I Help?

#1: Speak to your employer (or have your spouse speak to theirs) about having a employee appreciation play time, employee family play time, customer appreciation ideas (there are lots!), team building activities, or bringing inflatables to your own onsite events. You wouldn't have to make the sale for us to your boss...just plant the seed and put us in contact with the right person. It would be a win/win!
 
#2: Speak to your child's teacher or principal about having an end of the year classroom party or school party at BOTW. We can get the prices down extremely low per child when we get up to as many as 25-30 kids at one time, and it could be private for their class only. If this was booked during May to be held in June, we'd even throw in free pizza and soda for the kids!
 
#3: Are your kids involved in spring T-ball, baseball, softball or soccer? Did I miss any sports? Well, not to exclude anyone! Talk to their coaches about having their end of the season wrap up party here! If you've been to a party here before, don't worry..we wouldn't make them all cram into the party room for the trophy presentation~!  
 
#4:  Keep coming in to play and booking those birthday parties! Admissions and birthday party bookings are equally important to our survival. If either one suffers during a given month, it puts us in jeapardy. You can imagine why the summer scares us! Think it's out of the budget to come play often or book a birthday with us...remember that we are offering 1/2 price admission from 3:30-5pm Monday-Thursday AND are lowest priced birthday party 7 days per week ($99!) It includes all the party supplies, balloons, etc., you just need to bring a cake or cupcakes! Still think it's too much money for a party? Split it with a friend!
 
#5:  If you have experience in marketing, sales, PR or anything related YOU HAVE VALUABLE KNOWLEDGE THAT WE NEED! We'd love your input on what we could/should be doing. Would you be willing to work on a commission only basis or work in trade for Bouncing off the Wall services, please let us know! This would just be part time on your schedule (whatever time you had) There is only so much time in the day and there are so many businesses in town that need to hear about us!
 
#6:  If you own any type of business in town that would be complimentary to ours: printing, t-shirts, sign making, etc. and you are willing to give us some great discounts, that would be extremely helpful.  We'd be happy to let everyone know about you. It's not like we can't pay anything, we'd just appreciate any discounts that you might willing to extend us in the short term!
 
#7:  Have any other ideas? We're open to suggestion!

Book during the month of May and get a full sized Animaland animal for your child to make during their party
 
Classic or Deluxe Special-
 
Book during the month of May and get up to 3* free 1-topping pizza's for the kids in your party AND 2 2-liters of soda.  *# of pizza's is determined by BOTW staff at the time of the party based on the number of kids in attendance. You will get to choose the topping(s) and soda. 
 
Parties do not have to held in May, only booked during the month of May to receive these specials.

 Survey Feedback
 
For the next couple of months, we'll provide some insight into what the survey results revealed to us. This month, we wanted to share that many of you didn't know that:
 
#1: You CAN bring your own food into our facility.
#2: Your admission IS good for all day. You can get a hand stamp when you leave and then come back later in the day up until closing time.
#3: We DO offer discounts for siblings. There is a $1 off discount after the first child. If you go the route of monthly pass or punchcard the savings are even greater! 
#4: Our age-specific play times are ONLY on Wednesday and Friday. The schedule does not apply to every other day of the week. You're probably not as limited as you think you are. :)
#5: Adults and kids under 1 play for FREE!
