Christmas Eve Services
5pm Family & Music Service
with Rev. Carolyne Mathlin & Dr. Marj Britt
Let the spirit of Christmas surround you at our family-oriented Christmas Eve service. Our service will feature music from our Voices of Unity Choir and the music team. It will also include a Christmas message and some of our favorite Christmas traditions.
7pm Contemplative Service
with Dr. Marj Britt & Rev. Paul Tyman 
Take time to integrate the heights and depths of the meaning of Christmas as we experience reverence, devotion, peace, joy, and love at this very sacred service. Our contemplative service will feature a time of silent meditation, classical music, and exploring the meaning of Christmas that comes in the Silence. Our service will feature the musical talents of Richard Jennings on flute, Carol Roman on piano, and Sandi Rynerson on violin.
New Year's Eve
7 pm Watch Night Service
with Dr. Marj Britt
New Year's Eve holds sacred energy. We will give to the sacred flame that which we are ready to release and we will write Letters to God that set our intentions for the upcoming 2011 year. The sealed letters will be held in prayer at Unity of Tustin and then returned to you in December 2011.

Our New Website Is Live!!
It's official. Check out our new website at the same address (www.unitytustin.org). We intend to add more content and features in the near future. Meanwhile, we are basking in the glow of a 5-year vision come to fruition.
Year-End Giving
This is the season of generosity. Unity of Tustin continues to be a source of spiritual renewal and transformation for hundreds of people throughout Orange County, the surrounding counties, and through the web, the nation and the world. In the coming year we look forward to stepping into the vision that is unfolding at Unity of Tustin.

All donations received by Friday, December 31 in person or over the Internet will be counted toward your 2010 contribution statement.
Board of Directors Update
Our beloved Trisha Heileson has stepped down from her position on the Board of Directors. In accordance with our church bylaws, the Board chooses a member of the congregation who meets the qualifications to fill the remainder of Trisha's vacant position. The Board has invited Jim Tyner to fulfill the remainder of Trisha's term. We send Trisha much love as she pursues her new business opportunities and welcome Jim to our Board.
Holiday Outreach Opportunity
We are working out the details for our holiday outreach project. Look for more information in our bulletin and on our new website in the 'Holidays' section. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve Services
Ushering: We are looking for 4 ushers for our 5 pm Christmas Eve service, 2 ushers for the 7 pm Christmas Eve service and 3 ushers for our 7 pm New Year's Eve service.
Putting Christmas Away
What goes up, must come down. On Tuesday, December 28 at 1 pm we will take down Christmas and prepare for our New Year's Eve service. It should take 2 hours or less, especially if there are several of us.

Love Offering
Bring the mystical message of Christmas into your weekly routine through contemplation and devotion. Set aside one hour during your week to connect with the deeper teachings of the Christmas story and integrate those teachings in the Silence of your being.
We will incorporate a mini Christmas message, music, an extended time of silent meditation, prayer, references to scripture, and a 'take-home' practice.
Each component will come together to create a sacred container for your body, mind, heart and soul to receive the Divine.

Family Christmas
Friday, Dec 17
5 - 7 pm
Join your church community and Family Ministry for a special evening. We will have a pot-luck dinner, a visit with Santa (a photo opportunity for the whole family), and the return of the Advent spiral in the sanctuary.
It is a wonderful mix of fun, festive and sacred that is appropriate for kids of all ages.
