This Sunday marks the beginning of Adventure in Faith (AIF) 2008. AIF is an 8-week series that will incorporate the spiritual teachings from Sacred Companions, Sacred Community by Megan Don into every aspect of our spiritual community. This total integration unites our collective energy, deepens our relationship with God and supports the vision and mission of our spiritual home.

During this special time at our spiritual community, there is a palpable energy that touches all who step onto our beautiful campus. Each week this energy expands as we grow in faith and in community. For the most significant impact, it is recommended that you attend all eight weeks. Many people have found Adventure in Faith to be a life-changing experience.

Below you will find information about AIF. We will follow up on Sunday and in the weeks to come with ways you can be involved with the energy of AIF. There is something for everyone.

Join An In-Home Study Circle

We will be working with Megan Don's latest book, Sacred Companions, Sacred Community. Pick up your copy in our bookstore. Also available is a study guide for you to work with on your own or in study circles.

To join an in-home study circle or to offer your home for a study circle, sign up at the School of Light table this Sunday or contact Mary Jeanne Hawes at 714-730-3444 ext 109 or at loveinaction@unitytustin.org.

We currently have groups meeting in Placentia, Orange, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Moreno Valley, Tustin, and Santa Ana.

Study guides are available for everyone interested in working with the material covered on Sundays and in the book. The study guide can be used in a group or for independent study.

Get in the Spirit of AIF & Wear Red

Rainbow Spiral

Each week during AIF our community focuses on a different color in the weekly affirmation cards and other materials for the week. Many congregants choose to get into the spirit by wearing the color on that Sunday.

The schedule of colors is:

Oct 5 - Red

Oct 12 - Orange

Oct 19 - Yellow

Oct 26 - Green

Nov 2 - Blue

Nov 9 - Indigo

Nov 16 - Violet

Nov 23 - White

Receive Your AIF Print Material

This Sunday at both services we will distribute:

- A poster of the AIF image to put in your home

- A folder to store your weekly affirmations

- The first of our weekly affirmation cards

- A study guide of the AIF book (whether you are in a study group or doing independent study)

- Our recently revised Sunday bulletins (new for AIF week 1)

For those of you not able to be with us this Sunday, extra copies of all material (including the affirmation sheets) will be available throughout AIF in the library).
