Adventure In Faith 2008 Begins October 5

Our theme for Adventure in Faith 2008 is I Am Celebrating Sacred Companions & Sacred Community.  This year's theme comes from Megan Don's latest book, Sacred Companions, Sacred Community.  Megan Don was the author of Falling Into the Arms of God, our very popular AIF 2006 selection.  This new book is structured so that you can read a short chapter with a meditation for each day. Books are available in our bookstore. 
 
Adventure in Faith will be a time where our community comes together in celebration and commitment.  There are many ways to participate and deepen your experience of sacred companions and sacred community at Unity of Tustin.  The following events and activities are coming up to "kick-off"one of the most profound and important times in our calendar year.
   
Sign-up to Host a Study Circle
Continuing this Sunday, Sept 14 through Oct 5
A key part of AIF are the in-home study circles where people in our spiritual community come together to talk about the book, pray and meditate together, and form friendships.  Study guides will be available by Sun, Sept 28.  Please contact Mary Jeanne Hawes at 714-730-3444 ext. 109 or loveinaction@unitytustin.org for more information or to sign up to host a study circle.

Join Unity of Tustin's Healing Team and Pranic Healing with Daniel O'Hara in this powerful example of prayer and healing in action.  
 
Sat, Sept 20, 10am to 4pm
Silent Retreat for Peace
Unity of Tustin will host a Silent Meditation Retreat for Peace.  45 minute meditations start on the hour, every hour.  15 minute breaks.  Come for as much of the day as you can.  Bring your own snacks and lunch.  Love offering.

Daily Peace Prayers
We will walk to the peace pole recently installed at Site 8 in our meditation gardens and say a prayer for peace from a faith tradition.
