Each summer we have the opportunity to revel in the lush gardens and grounds at Unity of Tustin. This summer has been no exception: we celebrated our 60th anniversary, completed our Meditation Garden sites, and unveiled our Meditation Garden booklet. As the summer draws to a close, let us savor each remaining moment, drinking in each sunrise and sunset and continually coming back to Presence.
At Unity of Tustin there are opportunities for each of us to participate in spiritual practice at whatever level we want. We have highlighted some projects and events coming up that hold sacred meaning. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Soon children around the country will be heading back to school. Every year for many years Unity of Tustin has supported the Tustin Boys & Girls Club by providing backpacks to those in need. This year we have signed up to provide 100 backpacks and we have most of them filled. We just have 18 left and we need your help to make sure that all our backpacks are filled with back to school goodies.
You can help by:
2. Signing up to fill a backpack
Traditionally, a basic backpack with general school supplies for elementary age children costs $40 and for junior high and high school it costs $55. No donation is too small. Every little bit will help us.
We would like all backpacks returned to church by this Sunday, Aug 17 so that we may deliver them in time for the start of school.
From our Outreach Ministry team, we say THANK YOU for supporting the children of our community! You are making a difference and radiating Divine Light and Love in our community.

Peace is the Way: A New-View Course in Peacemaking & Peacekeeping
Tuesdays, beg. Aug 26 & continuing until Oct 14
The course is based on Deepak Chopra's best-selling book, Peace is the Way, and will focus on seven practical ways to achieve inner and outer peace. This class is a part of Tom's current focus on raising the collective consciousness for sustainable world harmony and is a part of Unity of Tustin's 11 Days of Global Unity.
