Your Contribution to ICM Makes

a Difference in the Lives

of Georgia's Children

Greetings!

Thank you for your generous financial support to Interfaith Children's Movement in the past. We don't take lightly the fact that you have set aside some of your hard-earned money-even harder in times like these-to support children in our faith communities, our neighborhoods and across our state.

The question before you is: Will you give today -- $25, $50, $100, $250, $500? We know that you value the cause of children. Please help us to continue to be your source for awareness, education, information and mobilization for Georgia's children as you make your end of year and new year contributions.

We've made it easy for you to make your tax-deductible contribution . Just click here now  and enter your desired amount.

Since 2001, it has been our honor to be your conduit to the state of our children. Your support has helped ICM create a heightened awareness across the state of the needs of Georgia's children and how we, as the interfaith community, can help to improve their opportunities to fulfill their greatest potential.

For example, a Marietta woman informed us that it was because of our workshop on child sexual exploitation and trafficking that she immediately called a residential treatment center to volunteer her services. "You probably don't get to hear this from people often enough," she said, "but it was because of your organization that I made up my mind to get involved."

Other ICM members have reported that we gave them the courage to do something they had never done before... go to the Capitol and talk to their legislators on ICM's Day at the Capitol.

As we have conducted issues and advocacy sessions on juvenile justice, child sexual exploitation and trafficking, education, health care, immigrant children and other child advocacy issues, faith communities have responded with hospitality--through the emergence of an afterschool program or a summer lunch program.

However, we still need your financial support to do what we are called to do; do what we are able to do; and do what must be done for the children of Georgia.

Thank you for your support!

SPIRITUAL WITNESS FOR CHILDREN
Prayer
One of the most important things faith communities can do for children is to pray for them.

Every child is a child of God and deserves justice and compassion. Every child deserves our prayers.

ICM encourages every faith community to become a spiritual witness for children. Hold a worship service in your church, synagogue, mosque or temple and invite others to join in praying for the well-being of all children.

ICM Mission and Goals

The Interfaith Children's Movement (ICM) is an interfaith, grassroots, advocacy movement dedicated to improving the well-being of children in Georgia.  ICM was formed in 2001 as an intentional association of individuals and communities of faith from all religious traditions.

The Interfaith Children's Movement strives to be a voice for all Georgia children, but especially the poor and marginalized whose voices are often unheard.

ICM works closely with Georgia's policy-oriented child advocacy organizations, such as:
