Furry Friends
Remy

Our furry friend this month is Remy, a 17-month-old Belgian Tervuren (pronounced "tur-VYUR-uhn"). This handsome pup was sired by a Dutch dog, so Remy is appropriately named after Rembrandt, the Dutch painter. Remy lives in Ohio with his human parents, Jack and Melanie, but he loves to visit his friends and admirers here in Beaufort.

receivedBeautiful new rings!
By Todd Reed and Sarah Graham
Todd Reed is a fabulous Colorado jeweler who combines raw diamonds, natural color rose cut diamonds, 18k gold, and sterling silver to create uniquely beautiful jewelry. We just received a shipment of rings from Todd. Here is an example of one of Todd's 18k and natural color rose cut diamond rings.

Sarah Graham, a California jewelry designer, works in 18k white, yellow, and rose gold, combining it with cobalt chrome (or blackened) steel. She also uses white, black, and cognac conflict free diamonds. This ring is cobalt chrome, with cognac diamonds set in 18k yellow gold.
See more by these two truly unique jewelry artists.

Alexander Kaszas
Alexander Kaszas was born in Eger, Hungary. Growing up in Budapest, a compelling sense of history had a profound influence on his work. Respect and love for the land was instilled in him from summers spent on his grandmother's farm, where life had changed little over the last 100 years.
The family left Hungary in 1956 following the Hungarian revolution. They lived first in Austria, then Germany, finally settling in Utica, NY.

After spending time in California, then four years in the Marine Corps, Mr. Kaszas settled in North Carolina in 1969. Since that time he has been a full time artist working in oil, acrylic, pastel, and stained glass. His work is found in public and private collections nationwide.
