By the Sea, by the Beautiful Sea
Michael Michaud is famous for his botanical designs. However, he also creates beautiful sea life jewelry. This lovely necklace incorporates pearls (from the sea, of course) with tiny shells crafted in bronze with a golden patina.

Stan Harmon, a coastal NC artist, creates stunningly realistic fish in fused and cast glass. This swordfish floats above a marble base.
Cynthia Chuang of Jewelry 10 continues to delight us with her fanciful creatures. Her fish, constructed in porcelain using a millefiore technique, lead us into an imaginative world of smiling fish and dancing starfish. Here is Cynthia's flounder.

From fanciful fish we move on to mythical creatures (for who is to say what is really in the sea?). Harry Leaf's happy mermaids wear colorful crowns and cavort with fish and lobsters.
Janet Harriman is a coastal NC jeweler who works in bronze, silver, and enamel. These bronze starfish earrings with tiny sparkling centers are perfect for anyone who loves being reminded of the sea.

Larry Lee tops his glass boxes with shells. Each box is different and takes its shape from the shell, a jewel from the sea.

What sparks our fascination with the sea? It is deep, mysterious, calm, and turbulent. Many of Linda Werthwein's prints capture the changing moods of the ocean.

Sand dollars are another of the sea's fascinating creatures. Legends abound about the beautiful sand dollar. Holly Yashi has crafted sand dollar earrings in silver and colorful niobium. Mermaid coins, perhaps?

Becky Hemby's wonderful seashell candles have always been a favorite with our customers. Here is her newest candle ...."A walk by the Sea".
