Gemini InkRumors
July 16 - August 1
Little Carver Theater
226 N. Hackberry

At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken and wife Chris must get the story straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miss-communications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity. www.therenaissanceguild.org

San Antonio Museum of Art

SAMA's Curator of Contemporary Art, David S. Rubin continues his Conversations series with artist Ángel Rodríguez-Díaz. Rodríguez-Díaz, a native of Puerto Rico, has long explored the issues of identity both as a "non-white" resident of New York City and as a "non-Mexican" Latino in San Antonio. More recently, Rodríguez-Díaz has been working in the arena of public art.  His most recent public sculpture, The Beacon, is permanently installed at the roundabout at the intersection of Blanco Road and Fulton Street. www.samuseum.org
