Santikos Bijou
4522 Fredericksburg Road

Part heartfelt drama and part love letter to a uniquely American neighborhood, La Mission tells many stories: that of a man who fights to reconcile the life he thought he had with the one he has; that of a violent but respected father's turbulent relationship with his gay teenage son; and that of a community with conflicting values struggling to hold onto its history and culture. A low rider procession is planned for the opening at 6 pm, the film begins at 7:45 pm and will be opened by Jesse Borrego and other cast members. The film will end with a Q&A with cast members at 10 pm. www.lamissionthemovie.com
