Latin Notes: Youth joining old faves at Tejano awards San Antonio Express News (7/16/09) Hector Saldaņa "The buzzword in Tejano is "youth." For an aging and male-dominated genre going through tumultuous times, youth (or the perceived lack thereof) is the 800-pound gorilla in the room. But it's also the path to redemption and survival. That was the message at last summer's Tejano Music National Convention in Dallas and at Univision's "Premios a la Musica Latina" show at the Majestic Theatre in March. It's all the rage tonight at the 29th annual Tejano Music Awards at La Villita Assembly Hall. Austin-based newcomer A.J. Castillo is among the showcasing stars. He's 23."

Armstrong Gets Tour de France Bike Designed by Hirst Bloomburg (7/08/09) Alex Duff Damien Hirst designed a bike for Lance Armstrong. The bike will be used for the final stage of the Tour de France, which ends July 26 in Paris.
