INVISIBLE THREADS June 5 - 28 SAY Si Central 1518 S. Alamo
In celebration of their 15th anniversary, SAY Sí presents a curated exhibit of alumni student's current artwork and digital films. The exhibit features the work of David Cordero and Gabriel Garcia. Shakespeare in the Park: As You Like It June 3 - 6, 8 pm San Antonio Botanical Garden 555 Funston
This annual event by The Magik Theatre brings full-scale productions of Shakespeare's work to the community. Hosted by the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, Shakespeare in the Park brings San Antonians of all ages together in the balmy summer twilight to experience the joys, sorrows, trials, and triumphs of Shakespeare's characters and stories. Every summer, thousands of San Antonio parents are faced with the same old question: "How do I keep my kids busy this summer?" The San Antonio Public Library has the answer: "Get them reading!" The Library's 2009 Summer Programming officially kicks off Saturday at the Central Library.
