This exhibit includes photographs by Gustavo Casasola from the Collection of the Bernabé de las Casas Museum, Mina, Nuevo León. El Niño Fidencio (José Fidencio de Jesús Síntora), is a healer who died in 1940, who is still a cult figure, and is remembered through animated photographs, original films, and people who knew him while living and bear witness. The exhibit opens with a reception February 26 at 7 pm. Related events include: a lecture by Dr. Leopoldo Castro, February 26 at 6 pm and "Niño Fidencio...de Roma a Espinazo" a film by Juan Farré, February 27 at 6:30 pm. 210.227.0123 |
