Are you looking for a way to teach your children about the political system during this 2008 Presidential election year? "The Kid Who Ran For President" tells the story of 12-year old Judson Moon, who with the help and persuasion of his best friend, elects to run for President after deciding that he could do a better job. What starts out as a local interest story, soon catches the attention of the national media, and even forces Congress to lower the age requirement for a presidential candidate. www.magiktheatre.org

These unique lithographs feature famous images of patriotic themes and messages, including several created for international groups interested in supporting the war by cultivating recent immigrants and new American citizens. S.A. native will star on stage in 'Dirty Dancing'
San Antonio Express-News
Deborah Martin
"Amanda Leigh Cobb felt "a little bit guilty" when she was cast as Baby in the U.S. premiere of "Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage," mostly because she didn't approach the audition all that seriously. "I was just having fun," said the 28-year-old native San Antonian, laughing. "I had a glorious time, and I laughed the whole way through because it was so outrageous to me; it was like nothing I had done before."

For Culturati in Naples, the City's Notoriety Is Outshining Its Beauty
New York Times(10/13/08)
Michael Kimmelman
