Through July 27
Cameo Theatre
1131 E Commerce Street

A joint production between The Company Theatre and Cameo Theatre, Charles Ludlam's hilariously campy send-up gleefully ransacks literature and pop culture and satirizes everything from Hitchcock to Shakespeare. One "dark and stormy night," Lady Enid, new mistress of stately Mandacrest, learns her husband's late wife Irma Vep was murdered and that something is prowling the moors. With dozens of lightning fast changes, two gifted (male) actors portray all eight characters - men, women, and monsters. www.cameocenter.com
