Interior Design Concepts
I recently stumbled across a blog of a young couple from Richmond, VA that have taken the interior design of their house to a whole new level. Their fresh approach to designing their living space has turned into a growing business for them. Thousands of readers visit their blog each day to find inspiration for their own homes. In touring their before and after photos I noticed their wonderful use of artwork and framing in each and every room. The art that they chose (including mirrors in some cases) have really helped to tie their rooms together. You can even purchase some of their own art prints here. If you have your own idea for designing your living space be sure to stop by Studio 3 so that we can help you pick our just the right artwork. Read their Blog Here! Monograms available for purchase

Hanging Artwork What are your options?
When itcomes to hanging artwork on the wall the options can be confusing. At Studio 3 we can help you choose the best method for hanging your project.Below is a break-down of options.
WIRE: The most common method is wire. Wire is generally used on most framed art and is the easiest to hang. All custom frame work done at Studio 3 includes wire and a hook for hanging.
D-RINGS: D-Rings are another method of hanging your artwork. D-Rings,
however, require a little more patience and care to hang since the
slightest miscalculation will result in a crooked picture. But, the end result is well worth the extra time and effort since the art will remain steady against the wall. D-Rings are also included on every custom framed piece at Studio 3, so that you have the convenience of deciding to hang it any way.
SECURITY HARDWARE: Security Hardware is only used when specifically requested since it locks a picture to the wall (largely to prevent theft). Hospitals,
public areas, hotels and commercial offices displaying art are all
examples of where we might recommend security hardware.
Z-BARS: Z-Bars
are generally used in hanging large mirrors and other large art. The
Z-Bar consists of two metal brackets that lock together on the wall.
One bracket is secured to the wall and the second to the mirror or art.
The Z-Bar is the best option where extra support is needed.
