Linda Lurcott Fragale
Jewelry artist, Linda Lurcott Fragale, respects the creative process of metalsmithing. Her great grandparents were jewelers. Linda inherited a passion for metalsmithing and a few tools of the trade from them. Linda enjoys the way she can make metal flow. She uses metal forming techniques to sculpt organic shapes and to create interesting textures in copper, silver, gold and iron. She then sets the piece with a specific stone or element. Some of her designs contain historical materials such as pieces of stained glass and nails salvaged from a 19th century church that burned down last year in Downingtown as well as stones from the Brandywine River.
