Michele wishes you...

Thanksgiving Header
Namaste & Aloha to you and yours!
Greetings!

Call me and let's do some cardio!
Need motivation to control your weight during the over indulgent holidays?
Well this clip motivated me, so I"m sharing it with you!
Courtesy of my dive instructor and dear friend who worked on this deodorant commercial as the
"water saftey" personnel.  What a lucky guy!

I'll bet none of those girls eat any stuffing....LOL
That motivated me almost as much as bikini shopping,
(which, by the way,  I'm starting to think I should inject into
our annual schedule for every November, to remove the remorse
we want to avoid anyway in January *evil grin*)
What does Michele eat?
I labored over finding the "fat-free taste sensation of the season" recipe for you guys and my flavor LOVES of the season are cranberries and tangerines....
The farmer's market is starting to host some amazing citrus currently & it's just going to get better!  Blood sugar beware!
Whilst I was going to originally amaze you with some cranberry chipotle sauce type recipe and then I decided that there were way too many recipes and food around right now (and hey, it's probably easier to buy some cranberry sauce premade from Trader Joes...LOL).

So here was my EASY non-conformist idea for your Thanksgiving Hydration treat.
(You will thank me in January  :) )
This is a GREAT way to entice the water haters to drink more water...and there are some benefits that you can Google.  Just Google "Lemon Water" and read up!
Lemon Water

Lemon Tree very pretty and the Lemon flower is sweet....

lemonwaterglass

We make a big pitcher of this everyday and finish it before dinner.

It tastes & looks much better with a glass pitcher.

At a minimum:

-Get Large Pitcher
-Add sliced lemons (1 lemon per small pitcher)
-Fill with purified or distilled water

Hey, you're done! How easy was that?  :)  I don't even add ice.

You can also add (if you want to spa-it-up)

♥ Cucumber slices (we prefer Persian Cucumbers)

♥ Sprigs of fresh mint or lemon balm, or lemon verbena

Any of those additions make it taste AMAZING.

Feel free to use limes instead as well.

The visual is so much more appealing than chugging a plastic bottle of water.

Enjoy! Bete'avon!  (Hebrew for Bon Appetit!)

This is exceptional content!  It always amazes me  how cutting edge she is to have aired this show originally so long ago!

If any of you have cable with "Time Warner", you won't want to miss my heartfelt friend and nutritional mentor's vegetarian holiday cooking show, "Kathy's Kitchen" featuring Kathy Hoshijo now airing on Oasis TV through Time Warner. (If you don't have Time Warner, you may want to check you listings for Oasis TV).

Kathy's cooking shows were aired on the Public Broadcasting Stations nationwide in the 80's and now Time Warner has brought back her "holiday cooking show' rerun which is absolutely wonderful! Her presentation and grace is one to behold!

For Time Warner subscribers, just go to:

1. On Demand
2. Lifestyles
3. Health & Healing
4. Oasis TV
5. Veggie Gourmet

Enjoy! Wishing you all much love and joy as the holiday season quickly
approaches!

Connecting Quote:
(something meaningful to ponder during savasana)

"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food:"
