New Dates for Leadership Conference—June 21-23, 2012
The 8th Annual Leadership Conference will be starting on the evening of June 21 (Thursday) with a welcoming Fiesta at our host school, The Culinary Institute of America in San Antonio. Join us as we feature local chefs, recognize award winners, and enjoy a magnificent reception in the Pearl area of the Riverwalk.
The Conference continues all day on Friday, June 22, our day devoted to educational best practices. Once again, our co-chairs, Dr. Jim Griffin from Johnson & Wales University and Dr. Fred Mayo from New York University, are planning a day of keynotes, panels, and breakout sessions all devoted to the challenge of the classroom.
Saturday, June 23, is our industry-focus, starting with a keynote, followed by a panel discussion, an InfoFair, lunchtime roundtables, and NEW this year …educational round-robin sessions, where you will hear updates and trend information in short, instructive sessions from experts in the field
The Conference ends on Saturday afternoon, June 23rd, leaving you with not only Friday night but also Saturday night to enjoy the perfect location of our host hotel, Hotel Contessa, on the most beautiful part of the Riverwalk. Hotel Contessa is an all-suite, new hotel with floor to ceiling windows and beautiful views.
Registration is the same as 2011. There are discounts for multiple attendees from the same school. And don’t forget deadlines for instructor awards and scholarships and contests this year.
