Discounts for Louisville Event

Did you attend a 2011 CAFÉ event?

If so, you are eligible for a $100 discount on your registration fee for the Catering Operations Workshop, October 21-23, 2011, in Louisville, Kentucky, hosted by Sullivan University.

This event will begin on Friday afternoon and end by early afternoon on Sunday. Registration is still open and if you have been a paid participant in a 2011 event, your registration fee is $274. Hotel rooms are still available this week at $89/night.

Attendees will network, learn new catering techniques and trends, share stories and successes, hear from top leaders and educators in the field, and earn ACF continuing education hours.

Phase 2 survey

Many of you participated in the Phase 1 of the culinary arts professionalism survey conducted by Glenn Mack, President of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Georgia. He is now asking for you to send another survey to every working chef that you know.

He is hoping for more than 1000 responses! The gist of your response for Phase 2 can generalize cooks and chefs into one group so as to include our current leaders as well as the next generation of industry leaders. “As a whole, what are we good at and what do we need to improve?”
