Healthy and Delicious Italian!

With an ongoing obesity epidemic and menu labeling regulations impacting foodservice in America, the need has never been greater for chefs to discover healthful, delicious dishes.  A  look to the past, and the culinary traditions of Italy reveals a wealth of inspiration to solve this modern challenge.  Authentic Italian cuisine is rooted in the classic Mediterranean diet; with an emphasis on fresh vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fish and lean proteins.  Barilla Executive Chef Lorenzo Boni will lead the class through the preparation of authentic dishes from the regions of Italy to show these principles in action.

To select this Master Class, Friday afternoon, June 23, from 1-3 p.m., you can register on-line for the conference  The master classes are included in the registration fee.  Lower registration fees are available if you register prior to May 1.
