As part of this year’s CAFÉ Leadership Conference, hosted by Johnson & Wales University in Providence, we will be offering a full-dayBest Practices Symposium on Teaching Methods.
The June 23rd Symposium offers participants a single-day program dedicated to scholarly presentations and workshops. Participants have the opportunity to explore each of these four topics (Culinary Teaching, Assessment, Technology, and Program Development) in greater depth by attending a choice of 90- minute presentations in the morning and a specific 3- hour afternoon workshop within one of the topic areas.
If you are interested in submitting a paper as a presenter in one of the four areas: Culinary Teaching, Assessment, Technology, and Program Development, please get the instructions. Deadline for proposals in April 1, 2011. Presenters will be notified by May 1. There is a jury for this process.
ACF continuing education hours will be awarded as will continuing education units (CEUs) from Johnson & Wales University.
